Product Videos and Shipping Update

Hey Backers,

First, we wanted to give you a quick update on shipping and let you know that all Kickstarter rewards have been shipped! YAY!!! ***If you have not received either your order or tracking number yet, please read the following section carefully before emailing us. If you have already received your product skip to the next section.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER OR TRACKING NUMBER:

There are a few reasons you may have not received your order or tracking number yet:

1. There are 676 people who have still not filled out their surveys from BackerKit. If you don’t fill out this survey, you will not get a product because we dont have your address. If you have not filled out your survey, please do so ASAP by following the steps in this update.

2. There are 98 people who added extra locks to their orders. The locks were supposed to arrive on Monday but didn’t, and so we are waiting until Friday’s shipment for them to arrive. Either way, we will ship those 98 orders out on or by Friday, sorry for the delay on those locks and thanks for your patience.

3. If you are an international backer, you may have received your tracking number but are still waiting for your order. International shipments can take 7-21 BUSINESS days for delivery. Please be patient :) There will be some days where the tracking receives no updates; However, your order is still in transit or being processed. Also for international backers, as stated in our campaign, "Our prices do not include VAT, GST, or other country taxes." Unfortunately, these charges are out of our control. Once your order arrives in your customs offices you will receive a notification from a company called GFS or your local customs office for customs clearance. You will need to pay the customs fees of your country to have your order processed.

4. Your tracking link may have gone to junk mail. If you have not received your tracking link yet check your junk mail. If you still can’t find it, you can also check your Backerkit account to find a tracking link there as well.

We are doing our best to respond to your questions as quickly as possible. But if these do not answer your questions, please send us an email to [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Today we wanted to give you a quick shipping update and introduce a fun contest where you could win a free NOMATIC Travel Bag! Please read the full update for details.

Shipping update:

If you have not received a tracking number yet, don’t worry. By the end of today we will have shipped roughly 50% of your rewards. We will let you know as soon as everything has been sent out, but you should expect to receive a tracking number by November 14th at the latest. If anything is wrong with your order you can email us directly at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.

Hey Backers,

You know that terrible feeling you get when you back a Kickstarter campaign, where the promised delivery date feels like forever away, and then something goes wrong and there are delays that make you wait even longer??? Well, here at NOMATIC we try to under promise and over deliver.

Today we are excited to announce an EARLY Delivery! Yup, you read that right : ) We promised a December delivery, but we anticipate that your rewards will begin shipping from our warehouse on October 23rd… Feel free to celebrate a little. (For a more detailed timeline, please read the entire update.)

We have a couple house cleaning items to take care of in order to make this timeline happen.

• This is your last chance to edit your shipping address as it will lock down on October 16th at 10:00 am MDT
• This is also your last chance to get special Kickstarter pricing on bags, add on’s, and all NOMATIC gear.  

If you need to change your shipping address read this (If not, skip to next section): 

If you need to update your address because you have moved or will be moving before the first week in November, now is your last chance. We will be locking down all addresses October 16th at 10:00 am MDT. So any changes need to be made in the next week.

Timeline for shipments and receiving your rewards: 

On October 16th we will lock down your orders, which means that additional purchases made through Backerkit will be charged to your credit card on that day. This week is your last chance to change your address and rewards so please make sure to follow the steps above now if you need to make any changes.

There were over 13,000 bags ordered via Kickstarter and Backerkit… That is a lot of bags haha. Our team can ship out roughly 1,000 bags per day. Shipping will not be by backer number or in any particular order. The tentative plan is to tackle the bigger and international shipments first and we will ship out the first 1,000 bags on October 23rd. for the next 13 business days we plan to ship 1,000 bags per day until we have fulfilled all orders. 

Long story short, plan on getting a tracking number sent to your email sometime between October 23rd and November 9th. If all goes as planned this means that the bags will be hitting your door step the first 3 weeks in November. PLEASE BE PATIENT :) YOU ARE GETTING THEM EARLY, THEY WILL COME! We will do our best to keep you updated in the shipping process... more updates to come in the next couple weeks. 

We have been getting emails from people who are taking trips soon and are SO excited to use their NOMATIC bags, so we wanted to give you our best guess on the timeline for your orders. This is only our best guess, please know we are doing everything we can to get you these rewards as soon as possible but this timeline could change should delays/problems arise that are out of our control. 

All in all, we hope you are as excited as we are to be getting these bags a month early. Again, we want to thank you for your support and for believing in the NOMATIC team. We have worked hard to make the best bags we can and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

We haven’t posted an update in a while, but as they say, no news is good news. We are working hard to make sure these bags are delivered as soon as possible. Manufacturing is still going strong and everything is still on track to deliver in December as promised.

Survey Time

Hey Backers,

It has almost been one month since our Kickstarter Campaign ended, and our team has been busy. We are happy to say that manufacturing is going smooth and everything is still on track for an on-time delivery!

We have a couple items to take care of real quick. First, our email system had a slight issue the past couple days. Some of the international backers may have received an email regarding customs and duties from [email protected]. Please disregard this email, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. 

We are ready to start sending out the surveys. For those of you who are new to Kickstarter, these surveys are a means for us to gather more information from you like your shipping address, and to give you the opportunity to switch your order if you wish to do so.  Here are two tips when filling out the survey to ensure your order gets processed smoothly:

• Most PO Boxes will not accept packages the size of our backpack, so please use a non-PO box address if possible.
• Addresses written in a foreign language are usually difficult for our shipping partner to process.  If you have the ability to write your address in english please do so.   

We cannot ship your order until you fill out the survey, so please get the survey filled out quickly to ensure that your order is shipped out efficiently in December. Also in the survey, we will be offering all the gear on our site at a discount of up to 50% off to you guys, so be sure to check out those deals. These surveys will be processed through a company called Backerkit. So please watch out for an email from them, and if you don’t see it within the next week, please be sure to check your spam folder to see if it got sorted into that folder.  If you happen to move or need to change your address between now and when the product ships, you will be able to log back into Backerkit and change your address anytime between now and delivery.
