We haven’t posted an update in a while, but as they say, no news is good news. We are working hard to make sure these bags are delivered as soon as possible. Manufacturing is still going strong and everything is still on track to deliver in December as promised.

Survey Time

Hey Backers,

It has almost been one month since our Kickstarter Campaign ended, and our team has been busy. We are happy to say that manufacturing is going smooth and everything is still on track for an on-time delivery!

We have a couple items to take care of real quick. First, our email system had a slight issue the past couple days. Some of the international backers may have received an email regarding customs and duties from [email protected]. Please disregard this email, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. 

We are ready to start sending out the surveys. For those of you who are new to Kickstarter, these surveys are a means for us to gather more information from you like your shipping address, and to give you the opportunity to switch your order if you wish to do so.  Here are two tips when filling out the survey to ensure your order gets processed smoothly:

• Most PO Boxes will not accept packages the size of our backpack, so please use a non-PO box address if possible.
• Addresses written in a foreign language are usually difficult for our shipping partner to process.  If you have the ability to write your address in english please do so.   

We cannot ship your order until you fill out the survey, so please get the survey filled out quickly to ensure that your order is shipped out efficiently in December. Also in the survey, we will be offering all the gear on our site at a discount of up to 50% off to you guys, so be sure to check out those deals. These surveys will be processed through a company called Backerkit. So please watch out for an email from them, and if you don’t see it within the next week, please be sure to check your spam folder to see if it got sorted into that folder.  If you happen to move or need to change your address between now and when the product ships, you will be able to log back into Backerkit and change your address anytime between now and delivery.

Thank you so much for helping us bring the NOMATIC Backpack and Travel Pack to life! What an incredible campaign thanks to you guys!

We have backers from all over the world in 80 different countries. Here is a map that shows where our backers are from:

We love the Kickstarter platform because of just that, it brings people from all over the world together to bring ideas to life. The best part is that NOMATIC is just beginning, we have multiple products in the works now that we plan to launch in the coming months and years.

So What Happens Next?

When the campaign ended Kickstarter’s payment processor should have started charging your credit cards. As of right now, it looks like there are 619 backers whose credit cards didn’t process. To know if your card has processed please log into your Kickstarter account and click on the button near the top right called “Manage Pledge”. Also, if your credit card didn’t process you should see a red bar across the top of your browser when you log into your Kickstarter account notifying you of the issue. If you credit card didn’t process you will have till this Friday to get your credit card information fixed. Please verify that your payment was processed to ensure your product is delivered on time.

Then, sometime within the month of July, you will be sent a survey where you can give us your shipping information, make any final changes to your reward, and buy any other NOMATIC gear found on our website at a discounted price to save on shipping.  As promised, we are confident that all rewards will ship in the month of December at the very latest. But we will continue to work around the clock to get your rewards delivered as soon as possible and will let you know should the timeline change.
